Nessa is a water nixie who has long spied on the humans of the Mundane World through the still pools and fonts of the Realms of Magic. She found their stories, their cultures, and their creative natures fascinating, but it wasn't until she discovered The Box with its portal that she had an opportunity to be a part of their world. She was thrilled to discover a band of like-minded fae explorers and talented artists who welcomed her into their circle. The joy she has from singing with them is second only to her rapture at exploring the springs, pools, and brooks of her earthly haunt. She likes visiting her sister (who doubles as a zoology student and part-time Boston harbor seal), playing games of who-can-hold-their-breath-longest with cute strangers, and running amok with ShadowCat.
